Reiki is a simple, natural,
non-intrusive Japanese energy technique using the universal life force energy
found within us all. The Reiki
Practitioner’s hands will be placed either on or above the body. The act of
laying hands on the body to comfort and relieve pain is practiced every day.
Human touch has warmth, healing and peacefulness. If your life force energy is
low, or if there is a restriction in its flow, you will become more vulnerable
to illness. When the energy is high and flowing freely, you are less likely to
feel sick, tired.
Our Parasympathetic Nervous System which
allows our body to heal itself is often depleted due to everyday stresses and
we often do not get enough sleep to repair ourselves as we are meant to. Reiki
can be a support option when our body and mind cannot enter the restful state
we require during deep sleep. It is said that a 1-hour session is equivalent to
sleeping 4 hours in our rest and repair state.
Reiki stimulates and accelerates the
natural healing potential of the body

renews and balances body, mind and spirit.
